Editorial Policy
Last updated: July 2026
At DygitalFree, we are committed to providing our readers with accurate, honest, and thoroughly researched content. This Editorial Policy outlines the standards and methodology we follow across all our publications.
Our Mission
DygitalFree is an independent digital media outlet dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, freelancers, and digital professionals make informed decisions about tools, platforms, and strategies. We cover AI tools, SEO, online earning opportunities, and digital productivity.
Testing Methodology
Every product and platform reviewed on DygitalFree undergoes real-world testing before publication. Our testing standards vary by product category:
- Survey and earning platforms (e.g., Toluna, YouGov, LifePoints): Minimum 45 to 60 days of active use. This timeframe is necessary to evaluate real earnings, payment reliability, and long-term platform behavior.
- SaaS tools and software (e.g., Semrush, Canva Pro): Minimum 14 days of active use across core features.
- AI tools and platforms: Minimum 14 days with documented use cases and output analysis.
Rating System
We evaluate every product on four consistent criteria, each scored from 1 to 5:
- Reliability — Does the product work as advertised? Is it stable and consistent?
- Value for Money — Is the pricing fair relative to what the product delivers?
- Ease of Use — Can a beginner get started without extensive training?
- Customer Support — Is help available, responsive, and effective?
The overall score is the average of these four criteria. We do not round up — if a product scores 3.25, that is the published score.
Editorial Independence
DygitalFree earns revenue through affiliate commissions and digital product sales (see our Affiliate Disclosure). However, our editorial content is produced independently of any commercial relationship.
No advertiser, affiliate partner, or sponsor can:
- Review or approve our content before publication
- Influence our ratings or verdicts
- Request the removal of negative findings
- Pay for a higher score or more favorable review
Content Standards
Every article published on DygitalFree must meet the following standards:
- Accuracy — All facts, figures, and claims are verified before publication. Sources are cited where applicable.
- Depth — Articles range from 1,800 to 3,000 words and are based on thorough research across search engines, AI tools, YouTube, forums, and social media.
- Clarity — We write in an expert yet accessible tone. Technical concepts are explained without unnecessary jargon.
- Actionability — Every article provides concrete recommendations and clear next steps for the reader.
- Linguistic quality — Zero tolerance for spelling, grammar, or syntax errors in both French and English content.
